Cut-through communications. Powered by data

The modern communications era is the age of data. Data influences the way communications is developed and implemented, as well as how it is evaluated. It determines brand, social media and PR strategy. It has an impact on how corporate reputations are managed.

So, we are delighted to announce that our innovative data-driven online tool for State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), that helps communicate complex investment and pension strategies in a concise and clear manner, has been nominated for two inaugural DataComms Awards 2022.

SSGA’s target date fund tool receives nominations for:

  • Best investor-targeted use of data, and
  • Best data visualisation from the financial services sector.

What is a target date fund?

A target date fund is a complex class of mutual funds or ETFs that periodically rebalances its asset allocation to optimise risk and returns for a predetermined time frame. SSGA offers index-based target date funds that apply a ‘finer lens’ to the selection of asset classes, delivering a disciplined approach to help mitigate the risks investors face along their savings journey.

Investors are attracted to target date funds because of the convenience of putting their investing activities on autopilot in one vehicle. But telling the story of how they work can be complicated. Find out how we solved this challenge.

Good luck to all the shortlisted firms and their data-driven strategies and solutions. We find out who takes home a gold, silver or bronze award on 05 May 2022.

If you would like to know how we can bring your data to life so that it shines through the communications fog, please contact Duncan Shaw in New York, Greg Hobden in London or Gigi Yung in Hong Kong.
