A new era for Sheppard, defined by true partnership

Living Group has partnered with global law firm Sheppard Mullin to create a refreshed brand and digital experience that reflects the firm’s evolution while staying true to its core belief: delivering excellent service through true partnership.

As Sheppard Mullin grew into an Am Law 50 firm with more than 1,200 lawyers across 16 offices worldwide, its existing brand no longer fully represented who the firm had become. While its reputation for thoughtful advice and long-standing client relationships remained strong, there was a clear opportunity to better articulate this story and to improve the firm’s online experience.

What began as a website brief quickly evolved into a comprehensive brand refresh. Living led an in-depth research phase with the findings highlighting the importance clients place on plain-spoken guidance, trust, transparency and collaboration.

These insights shaped a new brand narrative, values and a clear positioning centred on true partnership. As part of the work, the firm’s public-facing name was streamlined to “Sheppard,” improving clarity and memorability.

The project culminated in a confident new visual identity and a fully redesigned website, giving Sheppard a contemporary, flexible foundation that clearly communicates its values, strengthens relationships and supports continued growth.
