Odgers Berndtson, a renowned global leader in executive search, interim management, talent assessment, and leadership development, embarked on a mission to redefine their online narrative.
As a firm that emphasises their integrity and belief in doing what is right, they wanted their website to reflect their dynamic and innovative spirit, as well as their brand ethos of ‘making a difference.’
The existing website, a key conduit for attracting and nurturing talent, no longer aligned with their market positioning and aspirations. The brand narrative was buried beneath uninspiring visuals and limited customisation capabilities that inhibited user engagement. The imperative was clear: rejuvenate the digital presence to reflect Odgers Berndtson's purpose and expertise while optimising user experience.
Our approach began with a comprehensive competitor analysis and a deep-dive into the current Odgers Berndtson website. Collaborative validation and configuration workshops were conducted, engaging key stakeholders to define content and functionality. Drawing insights from this discovery phase, we forged an information architecture (IA) and user experience (UX) framework while identifying essential template requirements.
Within the boundaries of Odgers Berndtson's existing brand guidelines, we harnessed the power of their distinctive logo squares. These squares, ingeniously integrated, formed a foundation for a confident and proprietary visual identity.
The website's design leveraged these squares as a design element, infusing a sense of confidence and distinctiveness. We meticulously curated new imagery and strategically employing the logo squares to make a compelling brand statement. Creative expression was amplified across select modules and pages, spotlighting the versatility of brand assets and injecting dynamism into the design.
The culmination of our efforts is a transformed digital presence for Odgers Berndtson. The new website achieves the objectives outlined in the project brief and positions them as the premier executive search, interim, and leadership advisory firm, echoing their vision for industry leadership.
Visually, the evolution was striking – bold imagery, underpinned by the iconic logo squares, instilled a fresh energy into the design. Through a meticulous blend of design, innovation and strategic thinking, Odgers Berndtson's digital footprint underwent a compelling metamorphosis, firmly aligning with their ethos and aspirations.
